SMS Terms and Conditions

These terms explain FosterDB SMS Security Alerts, including message frequency, rates, support, and opt-out instructions.

1. Program Name

The SMS messaging program is called FosterDB SMS Security Alerts.

2. Program Description

FosterDB SMS Security Alerts sends account security and authentication text messages to users of the FosterDB internal business application. Messages may include phone number verification codes, failed login alerts, new or unusual login alerts, password or security change alerts, MFA alerts, and other account protection notices.

Messages are sent only to users who add and verify a mobile phone number in FosterDB and opt in to SMS security alerts.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on account activity, login attempts, authentication events, and security settings. You may receive messages when verification or account security events occur.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for SMS messages according to your mobile plan.

5. Opt-Out and Help Instructions

You may opt out of FosterDB SMS Security Alerts at any time by replying STOP to any FosterDB security text message. After you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS security alerts from FosterDB unless you opt in again.

For help, reply HELP to a FosterDB security text message or contact your FosterDB administrator.

7. Privacy

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are handled as described in the FosterDB Privacy Policy. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

8. Carrier Notice

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS delivery may depend on carrier network availability and device settings.
